Over the years while researching for my next purchase I have come across many rare, hard to find, prototype MovieRepliCars. I have collected the images to build a small database.
Some of these MovieReplicars are now either hard to find, no longer in production, very rare or only produced as a prototype, in some cases never released to the public.
Apologies for the quality of some images and for the lack of details. If you wish to find out more about any of the replicars mentioned in this article, message us via Facebook and will try to track down the information for you.
Don't forget to check out Part 1. Part 2 takes a look mostly at model kits from AMT, Aoshima and replicas from Europe. Model kits from classic TV shows from the 70's and 80's

AMT/MPC
AMT Aluminum Model Toys started to manufacture back in the '40s, while MPC Model Product company began in the '60s. Then in1985, MPC was purchased by The Ertl Company, which had also acquired AMT in 1981.
The AMT and MPC continue with Round2 Models producing some of its popular and some new titles. Back in the day they did produce some great model kits from classic TV shows, such as Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, and Adam-12 to name a few. The video below will showcase more.
AOSHIMA Models
Aoshima was originally established in 1924 and still continue to produce TV and Movie model today. The company produced some model kits for Knight Rider, Batman, and more.
Andrea Miniatures
European based Andrea Miniatures had humble beginnings with two brothers' love for model kits and still continues to produce dioramas and figures. With an exception for a couple of movie based vehicle-based replicas from Terminator, The Great Escape and India Jones.
